Fire Cider…
It’s pungent, it’s warming, it is a catalyst for digestive fire. ♥️ Best of all, there isn’t a right way of doing it.
In the jar:
🔥 horseradish
🔥 onion
🔥 lots of ginger
🔥 habanero
🔥 cinnamon
🔥 cranberries
🔥 lemon
🔥 orange
🔥 raw apple cider vinegar
🔥 pomegranate juice

This will macerate on the counter for about 4 weeks, and then strain and add honey. This spicy tonic can be drunk as a shrub, added to fizzy water, taken like a shot before eating, you can take it after a big meal to help with the feeling of indigestion. This batch will be ready in time for the holidays so I zhooshed it up with cranberries, cinnamon and pomegranate this year. The spicy foods increase the inner fire, or Agni in Ayurveda, the vinegar helps increase stomach acid to aid in digestion, the warming spices help to keep us warm in the winter months. The honey cools it down just slightly and helps improve the taste.

i was already whole.

i am filled with guilt that life could be so good to me, while so many others wait for a rainbow, so you will never hear me say that you don’t know true love until you’ve felt this
